Welcome to our Alphabet Countdown. Each day, for the last 26 days of school, our class will count down the alphabet from Z to A. We have special things to wear, do, and eat for each day. We have already celebrated day 'Z' by wearing zebra colors and stripes, zig-zagging at recess and eating zoo animal crackers for snack. On day 'Y' we wore yellow, played with yo-yos and had yogurt for snack. We have enjoyed following Mrs. J's class blog, which is why we wanted to start our own. We hope that someone as interesting as Bart decides to write to us.
We just finished studying about insects and spiders and are now going to begin studying different habitats. We want to know how all kinds of animals live and why they live in a certain type of habitat. We will also learn more about how they find food. It should be fun to learn all about habitats and compare different habitats around the world.
So if you wold like to help us, we would appreciate any information you may want to share.
Oh, yes, we are a class of kindergarten through second grade and love working together on projects. Monday is 'X' day and we plan to have extra recess and eat Trix cereal.
